I tried to explain to Andra where we were going, and since "dairy farm" didn't seem to be registering with her, and "cow farm" sounded odd...I told her we were going to Old MacDonald's Farm...you know, like the song. Which she knows very well. So when we saw the cows, she told me she wanted to sing a song to the cows, and launched into "Old MacDonald Had a Farm." Pretty darn cute until the cow had other ideas...
After touring the farm, playing with the chickens (which also produce the farms organic eggs), we ended our morning with organic ice cream from their dairy bar (MMMMMMMmmmmmm SO GOOD!!), and a picnic outside. Perfection. If only we could bottle this weather...

Too funny! don't you love those moments with a 2 year old? where they point out the obviously awkward situation so matter of factly? i could hear you trying to contain your laughter...and that made me laugh out loud! hilarious! and where is this farm you went to, by the way?
Yeah for farms on nice spring days!! The cow peeing cracked me up..leave it to animals to make a cute moment akward. hahaha!
